3. CRT
The picture tube in this receiver employs integral implosion protection.
Replace with a tube ofthe same type number for continued s.'lfety.
4. X-RADIATION AND HIGH VOLTAGE LIMITS
The primary source of potential X-radiation in solid-state receivers is
the picture tube.
111e picture tube is specially constmclcd to prohibit X-radiation
enuss10ns. For continued X-radiation protection, the replacement
tube
must be the same type
as
the original.

Refer to the warning label on the shield case in the receiver and the
schematic in the manual and, where used, X-radiation protection
circuits specifications.
High voltage is nminlained within specified limits by the use of close
tolerance safety related components/adjustments in the high voltage
circuit. If high vollagc exceeds specified limits, check each component
specified on the schematic diagram and take necessru)' com.-ctivc
ac!ion.
