(3) CIIT replacement
The original replaceable CRT has a fixed deflection yoke.
This is no need to readjust the purity and convergence.
(a) For HTM-lSSOR
CD
Remove lhe four screws fixing the top cover, and remove the cover.
®
Remove the eight screws fixing the right cover and left cover, and
remove these covers.
®
Remove the anode cap of the CRT.
@Remove the CRT SOCKEf BOARD from the CRT.
®Remove !he defleclion yoke connector (CN901) on lhe
DEFBOARD.
@Pull oul the front panel on the front right side, disconnect the connec-
lor and lake it out

Disconnect the conneclor between FRONT IBFT PANEL and
DEFBOARD.
®
Remove the four screws fixing the escutcheon, and remove the four
screws on the insides on the left side and right side.
Remove
the
CRT logether with the escutcheon.
Make sure that the neck of the CRT does not touch the main unit at
this time.
@Place a soft cloth below the escutcheon to prevent it from scratches.
Place the CRT on a stable surface with the escutcheon down.

Assemble in the reverse procedure of the above from

(b) For HTM-2050R
Q) Remove lhe four screws fixing the lop cover, and remove the cover.
®
Remove the dght screws fixing the right cover and Jeft cover, and
remove these covers.

Remove the anode
cap
of the CRT.
@ Remove the CRT SOCKEf BOARD from the CRT.
®Remove lhe deflection yoke connector (CN901) on lhe
DEFBOARD.
®
Disconnect the connedor al lhe lop oflhe CRT(conneded lo the
IBDBOARD).

Disconnect the connector between FRONTIBFT PANEL and
DEF BOARD, and remove FRONT PANEL
®
Remove the four screws fixing the esailcheon, and remove the
CRT together with the escutcheon.
Make sure th al the neck of the CRT does nol louch the main uni I al
this time.

PJace the CRT on a stab]e surface with the escutcheon down.

the 1eftmost slot on the rear, and
rep1ace lhe battery.

four minutes after it !urns OFF thejPoWERj switch.

Insert lhe MPU BOARD back inlo

slol.
Set the tpO\VERj switch to ON, and check that the screen is
normal.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrecily replaced.
