Glossary
volume A hard disk partition, with a specific name and
size, created for storage of applications and documents.
On Mac Disk, a volume is created using the Add Volume
command of the Volume Manager application.
volume directory A Volume Manager window that gives
infonnation about each volume on the Mac Disk;
accessed by opening the Volume Manger application.
