be pin to pin.
This is incorrect.
The correct wiring is as follows:

In other words, 4
&
8 are swapped, 5
&
9 are swapped.
Pins 2 to 2
&
6 to 6 should have no connection.

In order to get the best use of the new ROMs, you may need a modified
disk from us.
If you would like one at NO CHARGE:
Make a copy of the software disk you received from us for
your archive.
Mail us the original disk we sent along with a note
indicating you want the Mac-Plus disk.
