There are three types of Safe Place
transmitters:
Smart Sense

Standard Infant

Patient (locking)
The Smart Sense transmitter is worn on an
infant's ankle. It senses when the
transmitter is loose or no longer in contact
with the infant.
Like Smart Sense, the Standard Infant
transmitter is worn on the infant's ankle and
provides cut-band protection.
The Patient (locking) transmitter is worn on
the wrist or ankle and provides cut-band
protection, but requires a key to open and
lock. It is ideal for older pediatric to adult
patients who may be prone to opening
clasps.
