Verify channel and frequency in use
The channel LED① will show last stored frequency and channel. For example, if channel 36 is
608.750MHz, the LED will first display 60,87,50 and 36 in sequence.

SQUELCH (SQ) setting
When interference is encountered try reducing the sensitivity of the receiver by
turning the SQ control clockwise, thus less susceptible to interference. If this still
does not solve the problem it means this frequency is not suitable. Adjust the
squelch back to where it was and use the scan function to locate a clear,
interference-free channel.
