Using base adapters
If the existing detector base is not to be changed, multiple protocol detectors with
the following base adapters can be fitted in the existing detector bases:

NOTICE
Operating the FDOOT241-9 detector with FDB299 base adapter on collective
control panels
No detector function
●
Do not operate the FDOOT241-9 detector with the FDB299 base adapter on a
collective control panel.
If you are using detector bases Z7x and Z9x on a CZ10 control panel, you need to
replace detector bases Z7x and Z9x with detector base FDB201.
Configuration of detector type
The 'Configuration of detector type' step is only needed for the following detector
families:
AnalogPLUS
l
Interactive
l
SIGMALOOP
l
In the case of the detector family 'MS8/PMT' and all other collective systems,
l
the detector type is defined by selecting detection characteristics during
parameterization.
AnalogPLUS and SIGMALOOP
The point detectors FDOOT241-A3 and FDOOT241-A4 can be used to replace
detectors from the 'AnalogPLUS' or 'SIGMALOOP' detector families.
You will find detailed information in the 'List of compatibility'.
