Collective detector family (GMT)

Connecting external alarm indicators
The following applies to connecting external alarm indicators:
If the external alarm indicator is connected to only one individual detector, there
l
are no limitations.
If the FDOOT241-A9 detector is used in combination with the FDB299 base
l
adapter, there are no limitations.
If the external alarm indicator is connected to several detectors without using
l
an FDB299 base adapter, the following must be true:
All detectors use an FDB20x Sinteso detector base. This base type must
not be mixed with older base types, e.g. AlgoRex detector bases.
No sounder base is used.
The detectors have a product version of ES>13.
An FDAI9x is used as a common external alarm indicator if an individual
external alarm indicator is connected to one or more detectors in addition to
the common external alarm indicator, and one of the detectors is an
FDOOT241-9.
If the FDOOT241-A9 point detector is connected to a CZ10 control panel with a
l
grounded detector line, the FDOOT241-A9 point detector must be used with
the FDB299 base adapter.
Maximum current connection factor
Note the connection factors. The connection factors depend on the following
factors:
Parameter set chosen
l
Detector release status (product version ES)
l
Control panel type
