AIM ID Prefix

AIM (Automatic Identification Manufacturers) IDs and ISO/IEC 15424 standards define symbology
identifiers and data carrier identifiers. (For the details, see Appendix 2: AIM ID Table. If AIM ID prefix is
enabled, the scanner will add the symbology identifier before the scanned data after decoding.

Code ID Prefix

Code ID can also be used to identify barcode type. Unlike AIM ID, Code ID is user programmable. Code
ID can only consist of one or two English letters.
