Appendix 2 Precautions for Replacing AJ71PB92 with A(1S)J71PB92D

Pay attention to the following points when replacing the AJ71PB92 with the A(1S)J71PB92D.
(1) The sequence programs and cable wiring prepared for the AJ71PB92 can be used for the
A(1S)J71PB92D.
(2) The parameters for the AJ71PB92 cannot be used for the A(1S)J71PB92D due to a file format
difference.
Obtain the EN50170-compliant device definition file (GSD file) for your device from the device
manufacturer, and re-create the parameters using MELSEC ProfiMap or GX Configurator-DP.
(3) The parameter setting software packages used for the AJ71PB92 are not available for the
A(1S)J71PB92D.
The parameter setting software packages differ between the AJ71PB92 and A(1S)J71PB92D as
indicated in the following table.
