    Character Search Character Search Characters can be added to both visuals and audio using a PC when the unit is connected to a PC via the RS-232C interface. These characters will appear on screen during playback. (There is also the possibility that the characters will not be displayed.) In addition, searches of images incorporating these characters, a process called Character Search, can also be performed.
