Managing the Power Supply

Use basic safety precautions when using an AC/DC adapter and battery power. Make sure your T1150 is connected to
an AC power source via the AC adapter before you turn it on for the first time. If the T1150 powers down because of
low battery power, it could cause a system failure. Note the following do's and don'ts of an AC/DC adapter:
Do
• Use the adapter that came with the T1150
• Be aware of heat coming from the AC/DC adapter when it's in use
Don't
• Leave the AC power cord plugged in after you power down the T1150 if you plan to leave it unused for longer
than a few days or months.
To attach the T1150 to a power source
• Plug the DC end of the adapter into the DC-in jack on the T1150.
• Plug the adapter into the power outlet.
