Method of Error Detection
Abnormal fan revolutions are detected by a signal output
from the fan motor.
Error Decision Conditions
When the fan revolutions do not increase
Supposed Causes
Broken wires, short circuits, and loose connections in
the fan motor harness
Defective fan motor
(Broken wires or defective insulation)
Abnormal signal output from the fan motor (defective
circuit)
Defective PCB
Instantaneous disturbance in the power supply voltage
Fan motor lock
(Due to motor or external causes)
The fan does not rotate due to foreign matters
blocking the fan.
Disconnection of the connector between the high-
power PCB and the low-power PCB.
