    1 Configuration documentation This document describes the various service configurations and related parameters to alarm systems targeted to premises equipped with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) Call Servers infrastructure, DECT radio coverage via Base Stations, DECT wireless handsets, associated with an alarm server or not.
  • Page 5 8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 1.2.2 Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise alarm server: OpenTouch Notification Service The ALE OpenTouch Notification Service (OTNS) offers a native and optimized integration with the ALE Call Servers and all ALE wired and wireless sets, including DECT handsets with lone worker protection function.

  • Page 7 8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 1.2.4 Offered Alarm services The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise DECT system coupled to an alarm server offers functionalities such as live calls, emergency calls, event keys, status calls, Mandown alarm, no movement alarm, shock alarm and pull cord alarm.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 1.3 Feature configuration with alarm server To access the configuration menus of the various features:  Access MENU.  Alarm Set. Access to Alarm settings menu.  If configured. Enter device PIN code (The default is 0000).
  • Page 9 8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification  Location Signal: this menu allows activation and configuration of the location audio signal (LAS) feature of the phone. The LAS is triggered by the handset if the menu is activated on the handset.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 1.4 Configure emergency call Emergency calls are initiated by the user by pressing and holding the “Emergency call“ key or the OK key. An emergency call is used to signal an emergency situation to the server, such as body or material injury.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 1.10 Configure the key event calls Key event calls are also initiated by users when pressing particular keys on the numeric keypad. Activating the key events feature enables the OK key as the emergency call key. Pressing and holding this key triggers an emergency call.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 2 Alarms settings 2.1 Configure the alarm mode (Alarm mode) Depending on the selected mode, the message will contain reduced or full location data. Mode selection is performed once for all the alarm features.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 2.4 Configure the location audio signal. After an alarm is triggered, the alarm server can set a location audio signal on the phone. This signal is designed to help rescue teams to locate the phone and its user.

    8262 DECT Handset - Alarms: Geolocation and notification 2.6 Configure the parameter: Delay time This parameter is a time delay where the handset is in an alarm condition before triggering the prealarm phase. This phase does not apply to the feature: Emergency call.
