Power Supply

The system includes a redundant 1620 watt, high-effi ciency power supply. The
two power supply modules are auto-switching capable, which enables them to
automatically sense and operate at a 100V to 240V input voltage. An amber light
is illuminated on the power supply when the power is off. An illuminated green light
indicates that the power supply is on.

Power Supply Replacement

In the event that one of the power supplies needs to be replaced, one power supply
can be removed without powering-down the system. Replacement power supply
units may be ordered directly from Supermicro.
Changing the Power Supply
1. With the system running, unplug the AC power cord from the failed power
supply module.
2. Press the release tab at the top of the power module
3. Push and hold the release tab on the back of the power supply.
4. Grasp the handle and pull the power supply out of its bay.
5. Push the replacement power supply module into the empty bay until it clicks
into the locked position.
6. Plug the AC power cord back into the power supply module.
