Fill vacuum syringe with 5 ml deionized
water. Turn syringe upside down and
remove residual air.
Degas water in the vacuum syringe –
analogous to degassing the reservoir
syringe.
Push tube piece over the tip of the syringe.
Push plunger of the syringe until a meniscus
builds up on the tube piece.
