INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR-CEILING INDOOR UNIT

10.1 GENERAL WARNINGS

WARNING!
Danger of breakdowns or malfunction.
Observe the minimum assembly distances indicated in
Figure 8.3.
NOTE!
If a hole already exists in the wall or a refrigerant pipe
or condensed water pipe has already been installed,
the base plate can be mounted to adapt to these
conditions.
- Choose a mounting site that will allow refrigerated air to
reach all parts of the room evenly. Airflow should not be
blocked by beams, installations or lamps.
- Do not install the indoor unit too close to chairs or
workstations in order to avoid unpleasant draughts.
- Do not locate the unit close to heat sources.
- All the securing elements used, and the ceiling itself, should
be stable enough to bear the weight of the unit safely.
- Respect the minimum distances recommended in section
8..

10.2 MOUNTING OF THE INDOOR UNIT

10.2.1 PREPARING INDOOR UNIT INSTALLATION

Remove the intake grille and side cover(s) by removing the
tapping screws.

10.2.2 FLOOR INSTALLATION

• Drilling for piping
Select piping and drain direction. The piping and drain can be
made in three directions.

CASSETTE - FLOOR-CEILING - DUCTED UNITS
The drain hose can be connected to the drain port either left
of right side.

When the direction are selected, drill 4" (100 mm) diameter
hole on the wall so that the hole is tilted downward toward
the outdoor for smooth water flow.

When the pipe is led out from the rear, make a hole at the
position shown.
• Installing Drain Hose
Be sure to arrange the drain hose so that it is levelled lower
than the drain port of the indoor unit.

Using the distance between drilling holes as shown below,
drill holes for piping and anchor bolts.
