11.8 DRAINAGE TEST

- Check whether the drainpipe is unhindered.
- Every new built house should have this test done before
paving the ceiling.
• Remove the test cover by rotating the test cap, and stow
about 000 ml of water to a receiver through the stow
tube.
• Turn the power on, and operate the air conditioner in COOL
mode. Listen to the sound of the drain pump. Check
whether the water is discharged properly (a lap of 1 min is
allowed before discharging, according to the length of the
drain pipe), and check whether water leaks from the
joints.
• Stop the air conditioner, turn off the power, and place the
test cover back to its original position.

11.10 MAINTENANCE OF THE MOTOR AND THE DRAIN PUM

Motor maintenance:
- Remove the descensional ventilated panel.
- Remove half of the motor casing.
- Remove the motor.
Pump maintenance:
Stow tube
- Unscrew the drain pump cover.
- Unplug both the pump power supply and the water level
switch cable. Remove the pump.
