SYMPTOM
There are transponders on the antenna but the
software displays no UID.
Bad reading or low reading distance
The reader reads transponder (Tag LED lights
on) but the software displays no UID

CAUSE AND/OR CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
•
Is the antenna cable connected to the
reader?
•
Is the antenna connected to the connector
named "1"?
•
Are the transponders you want to read
specified in the options?
•
Is the HF led on?
If the four previous points didn't solve the
problem turn the reader off, wait 10 seconds
before turning the reader on again
•
The antenna is near metallic objects or
noise source like electric motors?
Try to move the antenna and the reader
away from these objects.
•
Is the RS-232 cable well connected ti the
Host Interface?
•
Is the software set 115200 bps – 8 – N – 1
– N?
Verify the connection
