To unlock the keypad:
1. Press any key. The display shows Press
2. Press
within 3 seconds to unlock the keypad.
NOTE
You can also lock the keypad using the handset settings menu, see page 22.
IMPORTANT
If the keypad is locked you will NOT be able to dial the emergency numbers.

Switch the torch on/off

To help you see in dark or poorly lit environments, you may find the torch a handy feature.
IMPORTANT
Never look directly at the torch light, or shine it into the eyes as the light is very bright.
Please keep the torch away from small children.
To switch on:

Press and hold
the handset.
To switch off:

Release
to switch the torch light off.

Paging

You can alert a handset user that they are wanted or locate a missing handset.

Press
on the base. All handsets registered to the base will ring.

Press
again to stop the paging ring. Or press any button on the handset.
NOTE
Paging calls cannot be answered by a handset.
The paging ring will stop automatically after 30 seconds if no button is pressed and your
handset will return to standby.
