OPERATING PROCEDURE
Cover (Ice maker)
(8) Remove the screw and 2 connectors. (See photos 20, 21.)
Ice tray lock lever
(9) Turn the ice tray lock lever 45 degrees as shown in Figure 12.
Slide the lever to the right to remove it.
Ice tray
(10) Pull out the ice tray.

Automatic ice maker assembly
(11) Remove the water supply pipe from the refrigerator compart-
ment side.
(12) Insert your hand into the opening where the connector was
placed. (See photo 21.) While pushing the tab on the upper left
side of the automatic ice maker downward, pull out the auto-
matic ice maker toward you. (See photos 20, 21.)
Ice maker thermopile
(13) Remove seal tapes for lead wire fixing (3 places) and for ther-
mopile substrate waterproofing (1 place). (See Figure 13.)
Press to disengage a tab (1 place) on top of the cover of the
ice maker thermopile from behind (ice making tray side), and
remove the ice maker thermopile. (See figure 14.)
