OPERATING PROCEDURE
3. Parts inside the ice making compartment, versa compart-
ment, vegetable compartment, and freezer compartment :
Partition I Partition S
Partition I/ S Cover (Ice maker)
Ice tray Automatic ice maker assembly
mopile Cover (Upper)
heater-2, Drip tray, Defrost thermistor
(1) Remove interior parts out of ice making compartment, versa
compartment, vegetable compartment, and freezer compartment.
(2) Pull out the doors of ice making compartment, versa compart-
ment, vegetable compartment, and freezer compartment.
Partition I
(3) Disengage 2 tabs and push up the bottom of the partition I to
remove it. (See photos 15, 16.)
Partition S
(4) Disengage the tab on the left side and 3 front tabs, then push
up the bottom of the partition S to remove it. (See photos 15,
16.)
Packing (F)
(5) To remove the packing F, slide it toward the back and disen-
gage the tabs. (See photo 16.)
Partition I/ S cover
(6) Remove 3 screws , and 4 sliders on the front of the refrigera-
tor compartment. Remove the tabs at the both sides of partition
I/S cover. (Remove them with a driver or another tool which
is wrapped in cloth in order to protect the cover surface from
scratches.) (See photo 17.)
Partition I/ S
(7) Remove the screw on the upper part of the partition I/S, and
disengage the tab on the lower right side. (See photo 18.) To
prevent any deformation and damage to the pipe, gently hit the
left side of the partition I/S, and slide it towards the right, then
remove. (See photo 19.)
Deforming or damaging the partition I/S causes refrigerant
leakage or failure in cooling.
Caution on assembly
Do not deform or damage the pipe. (See photo 19.)
Deforming or damaging the pipe causes refrigerant leak-
age or failure in cooling.
Orient the arrow upward and install the partition I/S.
