CAUSE
Connect the plug to a socket conforming to the technical data indicated in the data plate under the base
of the machine.
Switch the power button to "I".
Fill the tank with water.
Insert one capsule in the capsule holder.
Insert a new capsule in the capsule holder and secure it to the dispensing spout; brew a cup of coff ee.
Press the
Make sure the water tank is fully inserted.
Descale the machine as described in the relevant section.
Try to dispense water with no capsule in the compartment.
Make sure that you have used an "Iperespresso" capsule for domestic use, identifi ed by the wording
"Single-dose ground coff ee capsules for domestic use" on the packaging for ESPRESSO or BREWED COFFEE.
Wait until the purple light is steady on.
Disassemble and wash the steam wand as described in the manual.
Turn off the machine and let it cool down. Disassemble the steam wand and remove any possible obstructions
form the steam dispensing holes. Reassemble the steam wand.
