Before removing the speaker, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the tablet.
3. Disconnect the power from the tablet by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the tablet.
4. Remove the display panel assembly (see
the following components:

e. SIM card tray bracket (see
f. System board (see
Remove the speaker:
1. Disconnect the cable connecting the two speakers.
2. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screws (1) that secure each speaker to the back cover.
3. Using a case utility tool (2), carefully remove the speaker from the retaining bracket.
