Problem

Possible Corrective Action
Check which profile you are using. Some profiles
are designed to have low ring tones. If this is
unsuitable you can either select a different profile
or edit the current one.
Your phone has T9 predictive text input. To enter a
word which is not in the T9 dictionary, do a long
press on * to switch to multitap mode. Enter the
word you require.
Check the language settings for the T9 dictionary.
Call your service provider
Call your service provider
Some applications which you install on your
phone may require a licence to use them. If the
licence expires you will not be able to use the
application.
Contacts that you store on your phone are only
stored on the phone and are not copied to your
SIM.
Messages are stored on your phone only and not
copied to your SIM.
Make sure that the memory card is inserted and
try again.
Remove the memory card and clean contacts with
a dry cloth. Reinsert and try again.
Reformat the card and try again.
Check infrared settings on your PC.
Download infrared drivers onto your PC.
Check that both IrDA lenses are within close
range (about 0.5m) of each other and that they
are unobstructed.
Check that both lenses are clean. Clean only with
a dry cloth.
