Objective
Setting up with
SmartStation step-
by-step

Setup

Determine the station coordinates and the orientation of your TPS instrument using
TPS measurements and/or GNSS measurements.
Starting Setup
In the Go to Work! menu, select Setup.

• Choose one of the following setup methods
and select OK:
Set orientation
–
Known backsight
–
Multiple backsights
–
Transfer height
–
These are the only methods applicable for a setup
with SmartStation.
