Intended use

The eCLIQ electronic cylinder is suitable for commercially available locks.
It has been developed, designed and manufactured for heavy use indoors
and outdoors.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages due to the following:
∙ Installation errors
∙ Damage to the product due to excessive mechanical stress
∙ Modification of the product without the written approval
of the manufacturer
∙ Use for purposes other than those described in this manual.

Check for damage: Damage to the metal parts can cause injury. A
damaged cylinder is a safety risk. Check the packaging and the cylinder
for damage. A damaged cylinder must not be installed.
A damaged key must not be used.
Observe the specifications and regulations of inspection authorities:
The regulations of inspection authorities must be observed for the
installation of the eCLIQ electronic cylinder. Specifications of the door
manufacturer must also be observed.
Comply with the fire certification: The conformity of the fire
certifications for all door components and the suitability of the eCLIQ
electronic cylinder must be checked for installation in a fire or smoke door.
Risk of injury due to sharp edges and chips: There is risk of injury due to
sharp edges and chips from drilling or other cutting work. Take particular
care to protect your eyes with suitable protective goggles.
The work may only be performed by an appropriately qualified person.
