General The eCLIQ electronic cylinders are locked/unlocked using an eCLIQ key that is electronically programmed to operate the cylinder. A CR2032 battery in the key powers up the electronics in the cylinder upon key insertion. -

Comply with the fire certification: The conformity of the fire certifications for all door components and the suitability of the eCLIQ electronic cylinder must be checked for installation in a fire or smoke door. Risk of injury due to sharp edges and chips: There is risk of injury due to sharp edges and chips from drilling or other cutting work. -

Impor tant! Door Work: The eCLIQ cylinder and the mortice lock must be removed before doing work such as drilling or cutting on the door. Protect against the penetration of dirt and chips: The eCLIQ cylinder can be damaged from the penetration of chips or dirt. -

Maintenance, warranty, disposal Maintenance Impor tant! Do not apply lubricants in the eCLIQ cylinder: The eCLIQ cylinder should not be greased or filled with other substances. Impor tant! Replace the battery within 30s: Stored data is kept for 30s. A new battery must be inserted within this time span. -

Warranty The statutory warranty period applies. The warranty becomes void if the product has been opened. Exceptions: Keys may only be opened for the insertion and changing of batteries.
