Analog I/O Card
To activate the bus terminator and to place lines "A" and "B" on the references, plug the jumpers
as shown in Fig. 1 b). Fig. 1 a) shows the jumper position for deactivated bus termination and
open references (delivery status).

For trouble−free operation of the RS 485 bus, the lines "A" and "B" in one mon-
itor must be connected on their references (+5 V, ground), this is only possible
if the bus terminator jumper is also set in this monitor.
Jumper Analog Input
The four differential−voltage−inputs are selectively operating in the range of $1 V, $10 V or
0/4 ... 20 mA. With the jumpers JP1, the analog input of each channel can be switched between
voltage− or current−input. The following picture shows the position of the jumpers.
If the jumpers are set as picture a) (Fig. 2), all analog inputs are working as voltage−inputs
(delivery status). If the jumpers set like picture b) (Fig. 2), all analog inputs are working as
current−inputs.
Bus line "B" via pull−down resistor on ground
120 Ω resistor between "A" and "B"
Bus line "A" via pull−up resistor on +5 V
