6. ASSEMBLY
Apply grease to the
places indicated by the
arrows.
Touch the X motor gear
(25) against the edge
of the ball bearing (c),
and then tighten the
two set screws (26).

Install the X motor assembly
(29) so that the projection is
touching against the bed.

Apply grease to the
holes and grooves of
the X motor shaft.
Move the feed plate in the X direction so
that the center of the feed plate is aligned
with the center of the needle hole, and then
install the X motor so that the index mark
on the end of the X motor shaft is facing
directly downward.
Index mark
Adjust and install so that the backlash
is within 0.01 to 0.05.
