Date and time information is held on both handset and base.

If the base loses its power, any available handset with the
latest time will update the base clock when the base power
comes bac k on .

If the handset loses its power and the date and time
information is reset, once it has power and is linked to the
base - the base will update the handset clock.

The time and date is transferred to the handsets as part of
the registration protocol.
