For the are code, the maximum code length is 3 digits and cannot be set to <EMPTY>.
If the user attempts to save an area code that is less than 3 digits or <EMPTY>, the handset
will emit an error beep.

When this feature is enabled, the switching of the number format will work on the missed and
received c a lls lis t s .

At the missed or receive d c a lls list, K E Y _ H A S H will take the user directly to the
scr e e n .

"Show
Details" screen, a press on K E Y _ H A S H will change the number format in a cyclical
manner: -
7 > 10 (adding "555") > 11 (adding "1") > 7 > 10 > ...
For example, if the area code is set to 555:
-
an incoming call with 7-digit caller ID, 1234567, first press on KEY_H ASH w ill
change the number format to 10-digit, by adding the area code 555. Another
press on KEY_HASH will change the number format to 11-digit, by adding a "1"
in front of the number. A further press on KEY_HASH will change the number
format back to 7-digit, 1234567.
In other words, the number is changed in the following sequence:

an incoming call with 10-digit caller ID, 4441234567, first press on K E Y _ H ASH
will change the number format to 11-digit, by adding a "1" in front of the number.
Another press on KEY_HASH will change the number format to 7-digit, b y
removing
