Intended use The KONVEKTA air conditioner represents an air conditioning system that works with the ozone friendly refrigerant R134a and which creates a pleasant and individually adjustable room tempera- ture by means of forced convection. The determined use includes also the observance of the Oper- ating instruction and the proof of regular inspections as well.
If you think that the a/c unit is damaged, switch it off immediately. To avoid further damage • have it check at a KONVEKTA Service Station . Only after that you can take unit into opera- tion. 4.2. Demounting 1. Open the accordant cover in the dash board to get access to the back side of the controller. 2. Press the mounting brackets together, either by hand or with a tool, and push the controller for- ward. 3.
5.2. Switch on air conditioning unit By pressing key Blowers Plus (1) the A/C is switched on. Press After switching on the controller carries out a self-test. The software version (here: 1.0) as well as the operating mode (here: A) are indicated for approx. 3 sec.
5.5. Manual adjustment of the blowers The controller is in automatic blower operation mode. The AUTO symbol (7) is indicated. To decrease the blower speed press the key Blowers Minus (2). Press The AUTO symbol disappears. The Blower symbol (9) and the current speed in a bar diagram are displayed (here 40%).
5.7. Fresh and recirculating air operation In fresh air operation mode the air flap is open, a defined share of fresh air is supplied into the interior. By pressing key Recirculating Air (5) the recirculating air mode is activated. Press The symbol for Recirculating Air (6) is displayed.
When the demisting mode is activated the blower speed is increased to 100%. The speed can be adjusted manually on demand. But to reach maximum demisting performance the blower speed should not be decreased. 5.9. Changeover temperature display mode In normal operation the set temperature is displayed (here 22° C). By pressing the key MODE (6) the display changes over to ambient tempera- ture.
The setting of the temperature unit is persistent, also when the controller is switched off. 6.
