Select WPA/WPA2+PSK
Cause The encryption and authentication method of the access point corresponding to
the specified SSID differs from the encryption and authentication method set on
the Security screen.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether the encryption and authentication settings are correct. If WPA/
WPA2-PSK is not set, set it. (See "Selecting the Encryption and
Authentication Method," on p. 2-10.)
•
Whether the same SSID as the SSID of the access point is set. (See "Setting
the SSID," on p. 2-8.)
•
Whether the access point settings are correct.
Select 802.1X/EAP+WEP
Cause The encryption and authentication method of the access point corresponding to
the specified SSID differs from the encryption and authentication method set on
the Security screen.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether the encryption and authentication settings are correct. If 802.1X/
EAP+WEP is not set, set it. (See "Selecting the Encryption and Authentication
Method," on p. 2-10.)
•
Whether the same SSID as the SSID of the access point is set. (See "Setting
the SSID," on p. 2-8.)
•
Whether the access point settings are correct.
Set Security to Off.
Cause The encryption and authentication method of the access point corresponding to
the specified SSID differs from the encryption and authentication method set on
the Security screen.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether the encryption and authentication settings are correct. If "Off" is not
set on the Security screen, set it. (See "Selecting the Encryption and
Authentication Method," on p. 2-10.)
•
Whether the same SSID as the SSID of the access point is set. (See "Setting
the SSID," on p. 2-8.)
•
Whether the access point settings are correct.
