Setting the SSID

The SSID is an identifier used to identify an access point. This section describes
the procedure for setting the SSID using the control panel of the machine.

(Settings/Registration) ➞ [Preferences] ➞ [External
Press
Interface] ➞ [Extension Card Settings].
Press [SSID Settings].
Specify the following settings in [SSID Settings].
● If you want to select the SSID from a list of access points SSIDs:
Press [Access Point] ➞ select the SSID from the list of access points SSIDs
detected by the Wireless LAN Board.
The Access Point screen displays the SSID, encryption and authentication
method, and signal strength of each access point.
