Printing a Test Page

Before using the Wireless LAN Board for the first time, make sure to print a test
page to check that it works.
IMPORTANT
Before printing a test page, confirm that the LNK indicator is lit, and the ERR1 indicator
and ERR2 indicator are not lit. If the LNK indicator is flashing or not lit, or if either the
ERR1 indicator or ERR2 indicator is lit or flashing, see Chapter 3, "Troubleshooting."
A printer driver must be installed in your computer to print a test page. (See the Printer
Driver Installation Guide.)
NOTE
This procedure describes the procedure for a Windows environment.

Display the [Printers and Faxes] or [Printers] folder.
If you are using Windows 2000, select [Settings] from the [Start] menu ➞
[Printers].
If you are using Windows XP Professional/Server 2003, select [Printers and
Faxes] from the [Start] menu.
If you are using Windows XP Home Edition, select [Control Panel] from the [Start]
menu ➞ click [Printers and Other Hardware] ➞ [Printers and Faxes].
If you are using Windows Vista, select [Control Panel] from the [Start] menu ➞
click [Printers].
If you are using Windows Server 2008, select [Control Panel] from the [Start]
menu ➞ double-click [Printers].

Right-click the icon of the printer you want to use ➞ select
[Properties] from the menu that is displayed.

Click [Print Test Page] on the [General] page.

After the page is printed correctly, click [OK] or [Yes].
If the page is not printed correctly, refer to Chapter 3, "Troubleshooting."
