WLAN card cert. incorrect.
Cause When performing authentication with EAP-TLS, authentication failed because
the authentication server responded with notification that the wireless LAN card
certificate is not trusted.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether the wireless LAN card certificate is correct. (See "If EAP-TLS is set
as the EAP type," on p. 2-25.) If necessary, refer to "Installing a Wireless LAN
Card Certificate," on p. 2-16 to install a wireless LAN card certificate.
•
Whether the authentication server settings are correct. If the CA certificate of
the root certificate authority in the authentication path of the wireless LAN
card certificate on the authentication server is not registered as a trusted
certificate authority, register it as a trusted certificate authority.
Set private key password.
Cause A wireless LAN card private key is set for the wireless LAN card certificate, but a
password is not set.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether a password is set for the wireless LAN card private key. (See "If
EAP-TLS is set as the EAP type," on p. 2-25.)
•
Whether the correct wireless LAN card private key is installed. If necessary,
refer to "Installing a Wireless LAN Card Private Key," on p. 2-18 to install the
correct wireless LAN card private key.
WLAN card cert. auth error.
Cause When performing authentication using a wireless LAN card certificate
for EAP-TLS, the authentication server responded with notification that
authentication failed.
Remedy Confirm the following:
•
Whether the correct wireless LAN card certificate and private key are
installed. (See "If EAP-TLS is set as the EAP type," on p. 2-25.) If necessary,
refer to "Installing a Wireless LAN Card Certificate," on p. 2-16 and "Installing
a Wireless LAN Card Private Key," on p. 2-18 to install the correct wireless
LAN card certificate and private key.
•
Whether the account exists on the authentication server.
