To replace the system board frame, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the frame stand. See "Replacing the frame stand" on page 87.
3. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 89.
4. Remove the memory module. See "Replacing the memory module" on page 98.
5. Remove the M.2 Wi-Fi card. See "Replacing the M.2 Wi-Fi card" on page 100.
6. Remove the system board bracket. See "Replacing the memory module" on page 98.
7. Remove the system board and the heat sink. See "Replacing the system board and the heat sink" on
page 107.
8. Locate the system board frame. See "Computer components" on page 31.
9. Remove the screw that secures the system board frame to the computer. Then, lift the system board
frame upward to remove it from the computer.

10. Align the screw hole in the new system board frame with the screw hole in the chassis. Then, install the
screw to secure the system board frame to the chassis.

11. Install the system board and the heat sink. See "Replacing the system board and the heat sink" on
page 107.
12. Install the system board bracket. See "Replacing the memory module" on page 98.
13. Install the M.2 Wi-Fi card. See "Replacing the M.2 Wi-Fi card" on page 100.
14. Install the memory module. See "Replacing the memory module" on page 98.
