1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
2. Remove the frame stand. See "Replacing the frame stand" on page 87.
3. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 89.
4. Locate the internal speakers. See "Computer components" on page 31.
5. Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the internal speaker connector on the system board. See
"Parts on the system board" on page 34.
6. Push the plastic studs that secure the internal speakers as shown. Then, lift the internal speakers
upward to completely remove it from the chassis.

7. Place the new internal speakers over the chassis so that the holes in the internal speakers align with
the corresponding plastic studs on the chassis.
