7. Remove the four screws that secure the storage drive to the storage drive bracket. Then, lift the storage
drive to remove it from the bracket.

8. Align the screw holes in the new storage drive with the corresponding holes in the bracket. Then, install
the four screws to secure the storage drive to the bracket.

9. Align the screw holes in the storage drive bracket with the holes in the chassis. Then, install the four
screws to secure the storage drive bracket to the chassis.
10. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the new storage drive. See "Parts on the system
board" on page 34.

Replacing the memory module

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the memory module, do the following:
1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the
computer.
