De-scaling

Warning
Danger of injury from contact with acids
Descaling agents can cause damage to health if they come into contact with skin
or eyes or are swallowed.
• Use eye protection.
• Wear protective gloves.
• Contact a physician immediately if chemicals or water containing chemicals
(rinse water) are swallowed.
• Please take note of the manufacturer's safety instructions.
Operating the machine using hard water can result in the build up of limescale de-
posits in the boiler and the tank interior. If this occurs, it is necessary to descale the
tank interior, boiler housing, tank heating, boiler heating and the washing and rinse
systems.
Using service code "40044" you can reach authorisation level 4 (see section
"Change authorisation level" on page 51). Here the "descale" function (for the wash
tank) can be selected from the pull-down menu.
The descaling time and temperature can be adjusted in the i-Menu under the tab
"Dosing technology".
• For descaling only use products suitable for industrial dishwashing machines.
