To ensure your new heater will give years of trouble free service please carefully read the following instructions. Incorrect installation will affect your warranty.
  • Page 3 Positioning Your heater should be horizontally sited on a level floor or a suitable shelf allowing sufficient space for pipe connections and wiring.   • Page 4 The heater should be connected to a filtration system with a minimum flow volume of 12,000-litres per hour (2,640 UK gallons per hour). The maximum flow volume the B-100 heater will operate with is 40,000-litres per hour (8,800 UK gallons per hour).
  • Page 5 Power Requirements All B-100 heaters are fitted with their own specification plaque that details the power requirements for the heater. Below is a table of power requirements for the most common voltages - if your voltage is not listed please refer to the specification plaque on the heater.

N.B - The number of banks your B-100 heater has depends on the power output of the heater, please refer to the power requirement section earlier in this manual to check the number of element banks within your B-100 heater.

The heater has been plumbed incorrectly Solution = The B-100 heater has a fixed flow direction indicated on the rigt hand manifold that houses the flow switch, ensure that the water has been plumbed in the correct direction through the heater (ie: entering on the left and exiting on the right).
  • Page 10 TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) / Calcium hardness 200— 1,000ppm Stainless Steel heaters are NOT suitable for use on saline (salt) water pools. B-100 heaters with Titanium elemens are suitable for use with salt water pools with a salt concentration up to 8000ppm (8g/litre).
