FOMA Terminal

Q Because the FOMA terminal uses radio waves, you cannot use it in places where the radio waves do not reach, where they are weak even outdoors, such
as inside tunnels, basements, or buildings, or out-of-service area. You might not be able to operate the FOMA terminal even when you are in a place with
a fine view such as in a high-rise building or apartment. Note that you may experience interruption of calls even if the four antennas respond to a strong
radio wave, and you remain without moving to use the FOMA terminal.
Q Since the FOMA terminal uses radio waves as the medium of telecommunication, calls may be tapped by a third party. However, the W-CDMA·GSM/
GPRS system automatically supports tapping prevention, so your conversation will be incomprehensible to the third party, because it is recognized as
mere noise.
Q The FOMA terminals change your voice into digital signals and send them to the other party. In places where the radio waves are weak, the digital signals
may not be converted correctly, and in such a case, the voice may sound different from the actual one.
Q This FOMA terminal supports FOMA Plus-Area and FOMA High-Speed Area.
Q The FOMA terminal can be used only via the FOMA network provided by DOCOMO and in DOCOMO's roaming area.

Q You are advised that you make separate notes of information (such as Phonebook entries, schedule events, memos, record messages, voice memos)
stored in the FOMA terminal and keep them in a safe place. Note that we cannot be held responsible for the unlikely event of loss of the stored content
due to a malfunction, repair, change of your model, or other mishandling of the FOMA terminal.
Q You are advised to save your important data on the microSD card.
Q As with PC applications, some applications of this FOMA terminal may pose problems: unstable operations of your FOMA terminal and unauthorized
distribution and use of your location and personal information stored in the FOMA terminal. Therefore, you need to thoroughly check the source and
behaviors of intended applications before use.
Q This document assumes use of the UIM.

SIM Unlock

This FOMA terminal supports SIM unlocking. You may use a third-party SIM card once you unlock SIM.
