Configuring a wireless
LAN
You can connect the camcorder to a
network using a wireless LAN.
b Note
• The frequency band used by the wireless LAN
module is part of the frequency spectrum shared
by various other devices.
The communication speed and communication
distance may be reduced, and communication
may even be interrupted, depending on the
usage environment and interference with other
devices. If this occurs, try changing the channel
or frequency band (PXW-Z90V only) of the
access point.
Selecting and registering an
access point
You can connect the camcorder and an
access point using a wireless LAN.

Press the MENU button.

(NETWORK SET) t
Select
[Wi-Fi SET] t [ACCESS POINT
SET].
After a short delay, a list of access
points that can be connected is
displayed.

Select an access point to register.
If an access point you want to register is
not displayed, select [Manual setting]
and configure settings manually (p. 81).

Enter the password, and select
[Next].
Password entry is not required for
access points that do not display .
