External battery unit contact connection

(Protect B.1000 PRO / B.1800 PRO / B.3000 PRO only)
External battery expansions are connected from the back of the
device. It is not necessary to open the front panel(s). Make sure
that the external battery unit belongs to the accompanying UPS:
Remove the battery connection covers from the back of the UPS
and the battery unit (see also Items 7/15 on Page 26). Make the
power connection to the battery using the special battery cable
included with delivery according to the diagram shown below.
The next step involves the included data cable with the small
transparent RJ11 plugs. It is used for automatic detection of the
battery unit. As shown in the figure (e.g. B.1800 PRO), connect
the UPS to the battery unit.
Finally actuate the fuse on the back of the battery unit
(Item 14 on Page 26). Move the small lever to the "ON" position.
Protect B.1000 PRO with Protect B.1000 BP PRO only
Protect B.1800 PRO with Protect B.1800 BP PRO only
Protect B.3000 PRO with Protect B.3000 BP PRO only
When making the connection, ensure that the battery
plug is securely and fully inserted into the counter
piece.
