PCS.base 3 Transport and storage The device must always be stored and transported in the original transport bag. Operation without transport bag is prohibited. Only transport the device in the designated position (upright, level). If this cannot be ensured due to logistics (e.g. transport via shippers or air transport), it’s important to completely empty the condensate trap (versions without condensate trap), as con- densate could otherwise flow back into the gas lines.
PCS.base 4 Setup and connection Check the device for damage prior to installation. This/these could be a damaged housing or add-on components visible from the outside, such as filter and flow meter. Never use equipment with obvious damage. CAUTION Damage/health hazard due to heater leakage Check the device for obvious leaks before every use and at regular intervals.
PCS.base 4.4 Delta-T Control The PCS.base generally provides the operator with two options to adapt the system function to the ambient conditions or the main areas of measurement.
