The Savant Pro System that the remote is associated with must have a user that is registered with the Savant cloud. If there is no registered user, the remote will default back to a local Savant User and will have limited functionality.
2 Required Items This Deployment Guide will aid an installer/integrator through the process of adding a Savant Multi-Room Pro Remote to a Savant Pro System. It is recommended that the installer/integrator read this document in its entirety before beginning the installation process.

Network Configuration To ensure that the IP Address will not change due to a power outage, a static IP Address such as DHCP reservation should be configured. Savant recommends using DHCP reservation within the router. By using this method, static IP Addresses for all devices can be managed from a single UI avoiding the need to access devices individually.
