Miscellaneous Configuration
– High Precision Timer
Enable or disable the High Precision Event Timer.
– 8254 Clock Gating
Enable or disable 8254 Clock Gating.
– Restore AC Power Loss
Specify what state to go to when power is re-applied after a power failure (G3
state).
Power On: System will boot directly as soon as power is applied.
Power Off: System keeps in power-off state until power button is pressed.
Last State: System will act as its last power states.
– BIOS Lock
Enable/disable the SC BIOS Lock enable feature. It is required to be enabled to
ensure SMM protection of flash.
– RTC Lock
Enable will lock bytes 38h-3Fh in the lower/upper 128-byte bank of RTC RAM.
