- The​ ​ p edal​ ​ m arked​ ​ " L"​ ​ i s​ ​ f or​ ​ t he​ ​ l eft.​ ​ T o​ ​ t ighten​ ​ t he​ ​ p edal,​ ​ t urn​ ​ i t​ ​ c ounterclockwise.
