PAD Interface
Via the configuration PAD Interface you can enable the PAD
external PAD inserter. The standard settings are compliant to the synchronous
frame mode of the IRT Recommendation.
The data insertion works dynamically: If data are available the audio bitrate will
be reduced automatically according the PAD bitrate. Otherwise the full frame is
used for audio.
Maximum number of PAD bytes per frame depends on the baudrate:

To enable the PAD transmission you must set the option Activate PAD. The
RS232 interface parameter Baudrate must be conform to the connected PAD in-
serter. Available baudrates are 38400, 57600, and 115200 Baud. The Parity and
Stop Bits cannot be changed. The standard settings are: 38400 Baud, Parity
None and 1 Stop Bit.
